looking for a proactive, hands-on Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team as Nitricity transitions into commercial manufacturing.\nThis is an opportunity to take ownership of core accounting functions, work closely with the VP of Finance, and help build scalable financial processes as the company grows.\nWhile your primary focus will be accounting operations, financial reporting, and the monthly close, you'll also gain exposure to FP&A, treasury, manufacturing finance, and capital projects.\nWe're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes initiative, and wants to grow beyond a traditional accounting role.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn the monthly close: Manage key areas of the close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.\n\nSupport accounting operations: Handle AP, AR, cash transactions, and general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.\n\nBuild manufacturing accounting capabilities: Partner with Operations and Engineering on cost accounting, inventory, capital expenditures, and project spending as we scale commercial production.\n\nSupport financial planning and analysis: Prepare budget-to-actual reports, investigate variances, and assist with budgeting, cash forecasting, and capital-project analysis.\n\nSupport audit and compliance: Prepare audit and tax schedules, maintain supporting documentation, and ensure compliance with accounting policies.\n\nImprove and scale processes: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen internal controls, and build efficient accounting processes as the company grows.\n\nCollaborate across the business: Work with finance leadership and cross-functional teams on accounting, finance, and other business initiatives.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n\n4+ years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both.\n\nStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.\n\nStrong Excel skills and experience with accounting or ERP systems.\n\nDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.\n\nProactive, resourceful problem-solver who takes ownership, asks questions, and follows through.\n\nComfortable working independently, adapting to changing priorities, and rolling up your sleeves to get things done.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nCPA license or progress toward CPA licensure.\n\nExperience with cost accounting, inventory, or manufacturing You will work onsite at least 3 days per week.
