Junior Finance Controller

Our Position

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Finance team in Brno. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers and would like to develop a career in controlling.

The role is suitable for graduates in Finance or Economics as well as candidates with initial experience in finance, controlling or accounting. Following comprehensive training, you will gradually take responsibility for more independent tasks and gain a broad understanding of finance within an international manufacturing company.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• preparing regular financial reports, analyses and management summaries;
• preparing cash flow overviews and forecasts and supporting the budgeting process;
• monitoring costs, analysing variances and tracking key financial indicators;
• supporting monthly and annual closing activities;
• processing and checking incoming invoices in SAP;
• supporting the accounting and administration of accruals;
• preparing statistical statements and internal reports;
• maintaining and checking records of low-value assets;
• cooperating with the Accounting team and other departments;
• supporting internal audits, financial controls and process improvements.

As your experience grows, you will gradually take on greater responsibility and have the opportunity to develop towards a more complex controlling or finance position.

We are looking for a candidate who:

• has completed secondary or university education in Economics, Finance or a related field;
• has initial experience in finance, controlling or accounting;
• understands the basic principles of double-entry accounting;
• has good working knowledge of MS Excel;
• has analytical thinking and strong attention to detail;
• works in a careful, systematic and reliable manner;
• is willing to take responsibility for assigned tasks;
• has English language skills at B1 level or above;
• is motivated to learn, grow professionally and understand finance in a broader business context.

Experience with SAP is an advantage but is not required.

We do not expect you to be an expert in every listed area from your first day. Your motivation, reliability and willingness to learn are more important to us.
