The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and usability of our software products by conducting rigorous manual testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify, document, and resolve issues before deployment.\nResponsibilities\nPerform manual testing of web applications to ensure quality standards.\n\nDevelop, document, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements.\n\nIdentify, document, and report defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues in bug tracking systems.\n\nCollaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and verify bug fixes.\n\nConduct regression, functional, integration, usability, and exploratory testing.\n\nParticipate in requirement analysis to understand software functionality and business logic.\n\nUtilize project management tools such as ClickUp or Jira to manage tasks, track bugs, document testing activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.\n\nEnsure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.\n\nAssist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide support for production releases.\n\nProvide detailed test reports, summaries, and recommendations to stakeholders.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n\n1+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications is a plus but not required.\n\nStrong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle.\n\nExperience with ticketing/tracking systems like JIRA.\n\nKnowledge of different testing methodologies, including black-box, white-box, and exploratory testing.\n\nAbility to analyze and troubleshoot software defects effectively.\n\nBasic understanding of databases and SQL queries.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\n\nAbility to work in an agile environment and adapt quickly to change.\n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience in API testing using tools like Postman.\n\nBasic knowledge of automation testing frameworks is a plus.\n\nExperience with ticketing, issue-tracking, or project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or similar platforms.\n\nUnderstanding of performance and security testing
