If you are curious, analytical, and passionate about technology, we would love to hear from you.\nNIX SENSOR LTD offers competitive salary packages, an incredible work environment, and career advancement opportunities.\nWhat will you do?\nData Collection & Analysis\nPreparation and digitization of colour swatches and samples.\nConduct tests as outlined by the engineering team using various spectral devices and test equipment.\nAccurately collect, organize, and maintain large datasets using Excel, MATLAB, and other engineering software applications.\nDocument, summarize, and communicate test results to the engineering team. \nAnalyze testing results and identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for product improvement.\nPrepare summaries and reports that communicate findings and recommendations to the Engineering team.\nDevice Prototyping\nSupport rapid prototyping activities (e.g., 3D printing) for new product and device designs.\nAssist with assembly, troubleshooting, and physical/electrical testing of prototype devices under direction of the Engineering team.\nAssist with CAD model review and modifications to support prototype development and testing activities.\nDocument prototype builds, testing procedures, and results.\nAdministrative Support\nMaintaining laboratory test equipment and performing regular maintenance and calibration activities.\nMaintain regular communication with suppliers, vendors, and other contacts to ensure databases are current and accurate.\nManage phone and email correspondence to gather and verify information from key stakeholders.\nAssist with documentation, reporting, and other administrative tasks as needed.\nMaintain calibration records and equipment logs to ensure testing accuracy and compliance with internal standards.\nGeneral Responsibilities\nTake initiative to identify areas for improvement and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and development.\nOther duties as necessary to support the Engineering and R&D team.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes, data collection methods, and laboratory operations.\nWhat will you need?\nEducation & Experience\nPost-secondary education in engineering technology, electronics, mechatronics, engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.\nTechnical Skills\nHands-on experience with laboratory test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes).\nExperience operating and maintaining spectral devices or similar testing equipment is preferred.\nFamiliarity with CAD software (Fusion 360) and rapid prototyping technologies such as 3D printing.\nHands-on experience with computer programming and scripting is an asset (Arduino, MATLAB, Python, etc.)\nData Management & Analytical Skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel for data collection, analysis, and managing large datasets.\nProficient with Office suite tools (e.g., Word and PowerPoint) for report creation.\nExperience collecting, organizing, and analyzing large amounts of technical or operational data.\nDetail-oriented with the ability to identify trends and provide actionable insights.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, documentation, and quality standards.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.\nCommunication & Interpersonal Skills\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with engineering teams and external contacts.\nComfortable making phone calls and maintaining professional relationships to ensure up-to-date records.\nProblem-Solving & Adaptability\nStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address engineering challenges.\nAbility to adapt to shifting priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.\nPhysical Ability\nCapability to perform hands-on tasks in a technical environment, with the ability to handle small tools and components while maintaining focus and precision.\nCommitment to Safety & Quality\nKnowledge of workplace safety standards and quality control practices in a production setting.\nSuccessful candidates must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.\nWho You Are\nPassionate about technology, innovation, and problem-solving.\nHighly organized with exceptional attention to detail.\nComfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nCurious, analytical, and eager to learn new tools and technologies.\nMotivated to contribute to products used by customers around the world.\nWhat We Value:\nCreativity and Fresh Approaches: We thrive on innovative thinking and seek out unconventional solutions rather than cookie-cutter approaches.\nPassion for Excellence: Our highly motivated team takes immense pride in crafting remarkable products.
