Are you keen to get a little exposure to VB and C# scripting? \n\nDuties & Responsibilities\nPRIMARY FUNCTION OF JOB:\n\n Support the current platform in terms of features and enhancements from clients\n\nExamples would include:\n\n Creating reports\n\n Changes to existing products and creating new products\n\n Support the day-to-day functioning and operability of the current platform\n\nExamples would include:\n\n Investigations into incidents or bugs (e.g. reports that are functioning incorrectly)\n\n Designing and implementing solutions for client requirements\n\n Delivering on requirements on-time and to specification with high level of quality.\n\n Defining user test plan for solutions which are implemented\n\n Create documentation\n\nDesired Experience & Qualification\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:\n\n Minimum of Grade 12 and an IT Qualification / Diploma will be an advantage\n\n Microsoft Certification will be an advantage\n\nWorking knowledge of the following technology and tools:\n\n MS SQL server 2012+\n\n MS SQL, T-SQL, or similarly structured query languages (e.g. Azure SQL, PostgreSQL)\n\n Visual Basic (VBScript)\n\n MS Excel (Intermediate)\n\nThe following technology and tools will be an advantage:\n\n Basic C#\n\n CSS\n\n SSRS\n\n PowerShell \n\n Azure DevOps\n\n Flowgear\n\nInsurance, InsurTech, financial services and/or FinTech knowledge and experience will be highly advantageous\n\nSKILLS REQUIRED\n\n Excellent oral and written communication skills\n\n Ability to work in a team and independently\n\n Solutions orientated with strong problem-solving skills\n\n Ability to learn new concepts and apply them\n\n Critical thinking and reasoning skills\n\n Strong interpersonal skills\n\n Time management\n\nINTERNAL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS\n\n Introductory training\n\n Jira / Time logging System usage\n\n Shadow of Team Leader for a month\n\n VB Scripting training / C# scripting / AS reports/ Schedules New and old mechanism\n\nPackage & Remuneration\n\n Medical aid\n\n Pension \n\n Group Life \n\n Group Trauma \n\n Income protector \n\n 20 Annual Leave days \n\n Performance bonus \n\n Pay for studies with work back agreement \n\n Hybrid working model (3 days a week from home and 2 days a week at the office -
