We are committed to delivering safe, reliable service that gets customers to their destinations on time-and we're looking to hire talented folks with a commitment to excellence to make it all possible.\n**Only candidates with a Class-A (CDL A) Driver's License and experience with masonry, steel, and/or carpentry experience will be considered*\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nRepair and construct a variety of structures including railings, doors, stairs roofs, walls, and ceilings\nDeliver materials and pick-up heavy equipment and tools to areas as assigned\nMix concrete, mortar, pour and finish concrete\nInstall temporary supports to hold structures in place while decayed steel is removed\nRig steel for installation or removal\nPerform light running repairs to assigned vehicles \nInspect vehicle daily for safety and damage\nMaintain a safe work environment\nEducation, Experience, and Qualifications:\nQualified candidates must be able to: demonstrate carpentry, steel, and masonry ability\nwork effectively under pressure and in all weather conditions\ndemonstrate ability to communicate well with others at all levels\nunderstand and know standard construction policies\nhave mathematical and mechanical aptitude\nread and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals\nsuccessfully pass background, drug screening and physical\nprovide a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) and clean 7-year driving history\npossess a high school diploma or GED\nWork Location:\nVarious - B&B Mechanics/Vehicle Operators must be willing and able to travel to any of our NJ Transit locations as required.\nRate of pay:\nThis is a unionized position. The pay rates are non-negotiable.
