# Facilities Planner

Roles and Responsibilities: Assists in the preparation of scopes of work, cost estimates, and schedules for transit planningstudies. Assists with conducting comprehensive studies to assess the current state of transportation systems, analyze traffic patterns, and identify areas of inefficiency or opportunities for improvement. Assists in the development of long term and short term transit planning projects with internal staff and consultants. Assists with the design of transportation projects including needs assessments, capacity studies, scenario planning, concept plans, and related technical work for a variety of transit systems, passenger facilities, and access improvements to transit, including parking, bicycle, and pedestrian improvements.
