The agreement will be temporary for maternity cover, with the possibility of extension.\nDo you want to play a part in ensuring reliable financial reporting in a global organization?\nEnsure accuracy and compliance in financial operations\nAs a GL Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality general ledger accounting services and supporting period-end closings in close collaboration with local accounting teams. You will ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and internal requirements while contributing to efficient and standardized financial processes across the organization.\nYour responsibility will be to:\nOversee and process general ledger transactions, including accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.\nManage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.\nHandle asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.\nEnsure timely and accurate statutory reporting, audits, and tax filings.\nRespond to internal and external inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.\nYou will be based in Kaunas and report to the General Ledger Team Manager, working closely with both local and international finance stakeholders.\nDetail-oriented accounting professional with a collaborative mindset\nYou are structured, consistent, and motivated by delivering high-quality results. You enjoy working with numbers and take pride in ensuring accuracy and compliance, even in complex environments. You are engaged and comfortable cooperating with multiple stakeholders while maintaining a service-oriented mindset.
