As a Installation Engineer within NKT Grid Solutions Offshore Hub, you will create installation equipment, cable routes and technical documentation while contributing to an international company on a growth journey.\nCreate practical engineering solutions for cable installation\nYou will support offshore and onshore installation projects through mechanical design, structural calculations and technical documentation. The role covers metal accessories, jointing pits, cable routes, pull-in analysis and installation equipment. You will work with project managers, site managers, subcontractors and engineering colleagues, translating project needs into clear 2D and 3D deliverables that meet applicable ISO and EN standards.\nYour responsibility will be to:\nDesign metal accessories, jointing pits and cable installation equipment in 2D and 3D CAD.\nPrepare cable routes, pull-in analyses, FEM analyses and structural calculations.\nProduce manufacturing drawings, technical reports, instructions, layouts and task plans.\nPrepare ITP, FAT and SAT checklists and technical design requirements for MRB activities.\nProvide technical support to Service and Installation projects, including field engineering.\nThe position reports to the Installation Engineering team and works across project functions, particularly with colleagues in Karlskrona, Sweden. The final work location will be confirmed. Domestic and international travel is approximately 50 days per year.\nAnalytical and collaborative mechanical engineering professional\nYou approach technical questions methodically, communicate clearly and cooperate well across functions.
