Working closely with our international customers, we develop, manufacture and install efficient, environmentally friendly and technologically advanced high-voltage cables, for land and offshore applications worldwide.\nManage the installation tendering process\nOur installation department continues to grow and we are looking for a new colleague to join our team as Installation Proposal Manager. In this role you will be a part of our tender team, with responsibility for the cable installation part of our proposals. You will efficiently manage the installation tendering process for all assigned projects and ensure the best execution methodology and commercial solution is offered to our customers.\nWith your technical interest and business-minded approach you will work with tendering of large, complex projects, many of which are for major installations. Other responsibilities will include presenting our installation solutions to customers and negotiations with the motivation to secure contracts in our tenders, many of which are for major stakeholders in the international market.\nYour primary tasks will be:\nResponsibility for installation aspects in the tender from start of tendering to contract award and handover to the project installation department\nResponsibility to deliver high quality tenders, prioritizing appropriately and meeting both customer demands and directives and NKT Installation Strategy\nDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally and act as a single point of contact during the tender phase\nIdentify, evaluate and negotiate with installation subcontractors\nResponsibility to ensure a competitive installation solution - both technically and commercially\nPreparing the documentation package to the Client\nPreparing an accurate cost estimate and time schedule for the proposal installation solution\nPresenting our installation solutions to customers and conducting the negotiations with the goal to secure agreements in our tenders\nYou will be part of an international team placed over different locations. This role will be based in Rotterdam, NL. Some additional travel will be required mainly throughout Europe on an ad-hoc basis (approximately 30 days per year).
