As a Student Assistant in Group Sustainability, you will support NKT’s sustainability activities in embedding sustainability across the business. This can be in the form of desk-top research, strengthening ESG data, benchmarking, dashboards and communication, and supporting tangible actions while gaining practical experience alongside your studies. Would you like to turn your academic knowledge into practical experience within corporate sustainability?\nWork with ESG reporting and sustainability initiatives\n\nWorking closely with the Group Sustainability team, you will contribute to both tactical and operational ESG activities. Your assignments will range from preparing material for senior management and the ESG Committee to maintaining sustainability dashboards, analysing peers and supporting internal workshops and communication. The role offers broad exposure to sustainability topics and stakeholders across an international organisation.\nYour responsibility will be to:\nSupport preparation of sustainability material for the Group Leadership Team and ESG Committee\nConduct peer benchmarking and support ESG ratings activities\nPrepare material for internal sustainability workshops\nMaintain sustainability content on NKT’s intranet\nSupporting on tangible sustainability activities\nYou will report to the VP, Head of Group Sustainability and join a team of four international colleagues in Copenhagen and 7 colleagues based in Chennai, India. The position is based in Denmark with a hybrid working pattern. You will typically work around 15 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate your studies.\nAnalytical student with genuine interest in sustainability\nYou are curious, committed and comfortable working with information and data in a structured way. You enjoy collaborating with others and communicating across different functions, cultures and countries. You are interested in understanding how sustainability priorities translate into practical activities within an international company and are comfortable balancing several different assignments alongside your studies.\nYou also have:\nCurrent first year enrolment in a relevant masters degree or third year enrolment in a relevant bachelor’s degree\nStudies within science, engineering or business\nSustainability electives, specialisation or comparable academic focus\nGood understanding of data management and analytical work\nFluency in written and spoken English.
