The role ensures operational integrity across accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations within a multi-entity healthcare environment.\n The post holder will:\nPrepare and record accurate journal entries in the general ledger based on daily transactions and supporting documentation.\n\nAssist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.\n\nReconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, intercompany balances, and general ledger accounts regularly.\n\nMaintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in line with company policy.\n\nReview and process invoices, staff claims, supplier payments, and petty cash transactions while ensuring adherence to approval workflows.\n\nEnsure all accounting entries are backed by valid supporting documentation and follow standard chart of accounts.\n\nSupport the month-end and year-end closing process, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation calculations.\n\nCollaborate with internal departments and business units to gather information for financial reporting and variance analysis.\n\nAssist with preparation and coordination of internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.\n\nAdhere to internal control standards and recommend improvements to increase process efficiency and reduce financial risk.\n\nEnsure compliance with applicable UAE VAT regulations and assist with VAT return preparation and reconciliations.\n\nSupport the fixed asset accounting process including additions, retirements, transfers, and depreciation.\n\nParticipate in the standardization of processes across shared services and recommend automation opportunities.\n\nMaintain financial data integrity in the ERP system and coordinate updates with IT and finance teams.\n\nPerform any additional finance-related tasks and special projects as assigned by the line manager or finance leadership.\n\n Education and Certification\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is required.\n\nKnowledge and Skills\nStrong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and practices.\n\nProficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).\n\nKnowledge of VAT and financial regulations in the UAE.\n\nAbility to meet deadlines and work under pressure with high accuracy.\n\nStrong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.\n\nEffective communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with cross-functional teams.\n\nFamiliarity with shared services or multi-entity accounting environments.\n\nAccountant benefit from having experience/competency in:\nGeneral ledger
