Maintains proper inventory, monitors expiration dates and maintains necessary records.\n Incumbent is responsible for compounding (when applicable) and dispensing medications and preparations for medical outpatients and inpatients per prescription and/or medication order by Physicians and dentists in accordance with the formulary, as developed by Pharmacy Services Division to meet the standards set by, UAE Government and Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations under the supervision of a Pharmacist.\n\nInitiates and maintains computerized and manual (where applicable) patient medication profiles to screen for contraindications, allergies, correctness of dose, drug/drug and drug/food interactions, pharmacological duplication of therapy and adherence to drug restriction policies.\n\nPerforms specialty pharmacy activities as delegated.\n\nIncumbent follows proper handling and storage procedures of medications and can recognize physical and chemical changes what may occur during storage to avoid dispensing of such medications.\n\nIncumbent should be familiar with the approximate 1,500 line items on the formulary and is expected to work shifts/hours to meet the operational requirements of the respective unit/group.\n\nPharmacist will be available to provide professional and technical advice and instruction but the incumbent is expected to exercise due caution in dispensing medications and follow established guidelines.\n\nPrepare prescriptions and the medication related, for the in charge pharmacist and the second pharmacist to dispense.\n\nMaintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs\n\nResponsible for proper labeling of high alert medications, concentrated electrolytes and hazardous material.\n\nCoexistence in the pharmacy only during the presence of a pharmacist.\n\nObligation for appliance to all laws, circulars and regulations related to the pharmacy profession.\n\n Valid DOH License as Pharmacy Technician / Assistant Pharmacist.\n\nDiploma in Pharmacy(D.Pharm) Program of 2 years duration\n\n2 years’ Experience of pharmacy practice in UAE.\n\nHold a current and valid license to practice home country without any conditions or limitations\n\nExcellent command of oral and written English.\n\nKnowledge of medication handling, prescription processing, and pharmacy procedures.\n\nGood communication, organizational, and customer service skills.\n\nUnderstanding of UAE healthcare regulations and medication safety
