Determine part conformity, compliance, and ensure that it is suitable for use by our customer.\n**Shift Time for this position is 11:00pm - 7:00am Sunday through Thursday**\nEssential Job Functions:\nInspect/audit product using all variable or attribute measuring equipment and record results to ensure conformance with part and customer requirements.\nBe able to read and understand aerospace specifications, military specifications, industry specifications, and/or manufacturing instructions.\nBe able to read and interpret all print requirements including those developed using Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing (GD&T).\nPerform Airworthiness Representative functions including 8130 documentations.\nReview, control and maintenance of paperwork, documents, certs, and records.\nBe able to set up and operate CMM using established programs and interpret results.\nBe able to set up and operate Surfcom contour tracer for detailed dimensions.\nPerform First Article Inspection.\nProcess DMR’s.\nAchieve qualification as customer inspection delegate (DSQR).\nManager source inspectors\nAdditional Duties:\nProvide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, companywide.\nOther duties, reporting, special assignments, or projects as needed and assigned.\nMust remain current with, and complete all required training as assigned.\nMust adhere to Company Corporate EHS Policy and department, occupation, and task specific safety protocols, including but not limited to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.\nQualifications:\n3+ years’ experience in a quality inspection role within the machining industry, preferably in an aerospace environment\nDemonstrated competency with metrology equipment.\nCMM operation (preferred)\nComputer Skills: Microsoft (Excel, Outlook, and Word), digital imaging, Adobe Acrobat.\nGD&T competency\nMust submit to and satisfactorily pass any pre-employment screening required for employment with the Company.\nMust take medical exams required by law, in conjunction with occupation specific activities, the physical work environment, and ongoing industrial hygiene sampling results.\nDepending on assignment, may be required to use stairs, remain upright and/or seated for prolonged timeframes, intermittently reposition the body per various tasks performed, and use various tools and work-related supplies.\nMay be required to perform manual lifting activities, not to exceed a 40lb lift performed by one
