This role focuses primarily on modern SharePoint development, including SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solutions, Power Platform applications, and migration plans from on-premise SharePoint environments to cloud-based solutions\nResponsibilities\n SharePoint Online Development\nDesign, develop, and deploy SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web parts, extensions, and solutions\nBuild and customize SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, and content types\nUtilize SharePoint REST API to implement modern web experiences to support business process flow\nPower Platform Development\nCreate custom business applications using Power Apps studio as model-driven, canvas, and code apps\nDesign and implement automated workflows using Power Automate\nBuild comprehensive dashboards and reports in Power BI connecting to both on-premise and cloud data sources\nIntegrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online and other 365 services\nSharePoint Migration\nProvide technical expertise in the form of assessment and recommendation for migration strategies of legacy SharePoint customizations to SharePoint Online\nDissect complex customizations that could be built in a myriad of development strategies to rebuild in SharePoint Online\nConvert InfoPath forms to modern Power App solutions\nBuild Power Automate flows to mirror functionality of SharePoint Designer workflows\nSharePoint Subscription Edition Development\nMaintain and enhance existing on-premise SharePoint Subscription Edition customizations utilizing supporting tools such as SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio Code\nDevelop business applications that heavily utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript leveraging SharePoint APIs.\nUse OData query options to refine API request to streamline user performance.\nSupport legacy applications during migration transition periods\nWork with the customer to capture functional and technical requirements related to the business process flow.\nDevelop SQL Queries to support the development of business applications utilizing external datasources.\nDevelop SDLC documentation to include but not limited to Detailed Design Documents, Use Cases, and supporting documentation.\nEnsure developed code is maintained using proper source control management.\nPerform other related assignments as needed.\nKnowledge, Skill, and Technical Requirements\nAbility to interact with end users and translate business language into technical requirements.\n5+ years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)\n3+ years of experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI development\n3+ years of experience with SPFx development\n3+ years of experience with TypeScript, React, and downstream UI libraries\nStrong competency in modern web design practices with an emphasis on component development, front-end architecture, and performance optimization\nAdvanced knowledge of SharePoint APIs in handling basic CRUD operations as well as permission and role management, and workflow state management\nCapability of implementing separation of concerns in the utilization of SharePoint resources as a back-end data store with static files hosted from within a SharePoint library\nExperience with jQuery and Kendo UI libraries\nDemonstrated experience building PCF components\nProven track record migrating InfoPath forms and SharePoint Designer workflows to Power Platform\nKnowledge of SharePoint REST APIs, JSOM, CSOM and Microsoft Graph API\nUnderstanding of SharePoint security models and permissions\nExperience with TypeScript and Node.js development environments\nFamiliarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines\nUnderstanding of responsive web design principles\nProficiency with data modeling and database concepts\nMust have a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully collaborate with team members.\nEducation and Qualification\nCompliant as IAT Level II (DoD 8570) and 621 - Intermediate (DoD 8140) (required)\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering (preferred)\nCurrent qualification in Security+ CE, CSSLP, GSEC, or CISSP-ISSAP (preferred)\nMicrosoft Certified PL-400, PL-600, AZ-204, or MS-600 (preferred)\nITIL Foundation (preferred)\nADA Specifications\nOccasionally lifting of 5-10 lbs.\nRegularly required to talk and/or hear\nExtended working hours\nNo travel expected for this position\nWill be required to use the computer screen for extended periods of time\nNMR Consulting is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
