Working 24/7/365 shift schedules, you will ensure reliable generation, distribution, backup, and emergency power operations, supporting data-center-grade environments and other high-availability assets. Monitor and operate electrical distribution, UPS, generators, ATS, and BMS to maintain optimal performance.\n Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective repairs using the CMMS platform.\n Lead emergency response and root-cause analysis for power outages or equipment faults.\n Develop, review, and execute Methods of Procedure (MOPs), SOPs, and Emergency Operating Procedures.\n Enforce safety standards, including NFPA 70E, LOTO, and Arc Flash protection.\n Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and upgrades.\n Manage load balancing, capacity planning, and redundancy (N+1, 2N) to prevent overloads.\n Troubleshoot and repair critical electrical components such as switchgear, PDUs, and battery systems.\n Assist with system upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new equipment.\n Maintain accurate documentation of schematics, control drawings, and equipment records.\n Trade school, military training, or Associate degree in Electrical Technology (or equivalent).\nJourneyman or Master Electrician license (highly preferred).\nNFPA 70E certification and OSHA 10/30 safety training (preferred).\n3-5+ years of hands-on experience in a critical environment (data center, hospital, telecom, etc.).\nProficiency reading single-line diagrams, schematics, and control drawings.\nStrong knowledge of UPS topologies, generators, switchgear, and power monitoring systems.\nAbility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\nPhysical ability to lift 50 lb and work safely in loud, confined electrical rooms.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and calm decision-making under pressure.\nEffective communication skills for documenting work and briefing non-technical stakeholders.\nSalary Range Language\nThe expected base salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held.
