We are waiting for you to join us!\nWhat will you do?\nUnderstand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions and clear project documentation. \nEstimate implementation effort based on business requirements.\nPrepare technical documentation based on business analysis. \nSupport other colleagues to understand technical aspects of the application.\nImplement agreed solution using Smart/400 development environment, COBOL programming language and DB2 database, considering internal standards and guidelines.\nExecute unit and local testing for your implementations and perform peer code reviews. \nIdentify appropriate solution changes, update the technical documentation and supplement the test plan with relevant scenarios. \nPromote application changes across implementation environments(multiple non-production environments and preparation for production environment)\nSupport implementation teams and colleagues from involved departments during testing and provide production support when issues cannot be resolved by the support team. \nWhat will you bring?\nStrong design and programming skills in COBOL, AS/400, Control Language (CL) and related AS/400 server-side technologies. \nHands-on experience with SMART/400 development tools and the AS/400 platform. \nExperience with DB2 databases. \nExperience across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements understanding, application or system analysis and design, development, testing and deployment. \nExperience working in an Agile environment. \nExperience in the insurance domain is considered an advantage. \nGood verbal and written communication skills in English. \nA responsible, autonomous and solution-oriented approach, with a strong interest in developing your technical skills. \nYou use your curiosity and automation tools (including AI) to make change work and constantly improve the way we work.\nYou communicate with empathy, clarity and impact.\nYou work well in a team and support others.\nYou proactively identify opportunities for improvement and come up with initiative.\nWhat we offer you\nAt NN we believe that a diverse team helps us better serve our clients.
