team based organization.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to understand and react with diverse groups and operations.\n\nAbility to recognize and resolve conflict.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications.\n\nTravel is an essential job function (domestic, international and offshore).\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nApply effective and efficient well execution plans and ensure rig crews are properly inspecting, maintaining and operating assigned drilling rigs.\n\nResponsible to ensuring the Noble Maintenance Program is properly implemented and maintained on each assigned rig.\n\nGuide rig personnel in pre-planning upcoming jobs with materials on hand to ensure that all planned and unplanned opportunities are maximized.\n\nMaintain competent and capable rig crews and provide leadership in fostering the “safety-is-a-value” culture.\n\nAssist in annual budget preparations and cost control procedures and be accountable for rig operating budget.\n\nResponsible for safe team work with respect to all rig operations.\n\nPromote the principles of continuous improvement.\n\nMaintain good two way communication with team members, both onshore and offshore.\n\nEnsure that standards of supervision and employee performance are monitored and communicated to rig crews through verbal communication and continous conversations.\n\nEnsure equipment repair and returns are monitored and expedited and certification requirements are met.\n\nPerform audits and rig inspections as necessary to maintain the highest operational standards.\n\nCoordinate the development of newly appointed senior team members offshore.\n\nEnsure regulatory compliance is properly maintained.\n\nParticipate in company required and recommended training.\n\nProvide guidance and support to onshore and offshore personnel as required.\n\nEnsure compliance with Noble’s HSE Management System.\n\nEnsure that interfaces to operator HSE programs are defined and understood by rig crews.\n\nPerform a necessary key leadership role for the assigned region.\n\nSupport the provision of consulting and specialist services related to all aspects the operation of assigned MODU’s.\n\nSupport the provision of offshore drilling services including HSE performance, operation and maintenance of assigned region drilling units and performance of all ancillary operations and services which are provided within the region.\n\nWork to keep personnel turnover to a minimum.\n\nEnsure the application of Noble’s policies and procedures to create effective work practices.\n\nAct as a communicator for functional and organizational activities between assigned rigs and office personnel.\n\nFacilitate personnel resource and succession planning and
