The pipe yard technician will be responsible for safely moving and handling pipe within the pipe yard.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nLoading and unloading pipe\nMaintains Good Communication\nEnsures Tools/Equipment/Spare Parts for Jobs are Loaded and Available on Truck\nRepair and Maintenance\nComplies with Company Rules and Regulations\nRequired to safely perform duties within the pipe yard\nResponsible for conducting visual inspections of pipe\nResponsible for accurate tallying of pipe\nAvailable on a 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs\nCommunicates with supervisor and trucking personnel\nOperates loader safely and efficiently\nOther duties as assigned by District Manager or Supervisor\nRequirements\nCompetencies\n1-2 years related experience operating a loader\nCDL preferred\nMust be proficient with written and verbal communication skills\nStrong leadership and quality skills\nUnderstands importance of leading by example\nAbility to multi-task\nAbility to work without supervision\nCan work closely with fellow employees\nThorough knowledge of safety and work standards\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual must also complete all Noble and industry specific training. Must possess the ability to handle high priority projects safely and efficiently.\nEducation and/or Experience\nA minimum of 1 year of experience operating a loader. CDL preferred but not required.\nLanguage Skills\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.\nReasoning Ability\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
