to deliver faster transformation, lower cost, and truly differentiated outcomes - we do this by bringing together our AI Augmented MSP platform, hybrid sovereign cloud solutions, deep Microsoft expertise and the Node4 People\nWe are:\nNimble - We focus on what matters most, adapt fast and embrace change\nOriginal - We think differently, stay curious and innovate\nDriven - We are bold, bring energy and own the outcome\nEngaged - We operate as one, building strong relationships\n4 More - We always go further for our people, customers and partners\nAbout the role\nActs as the technical authority for network delivery engagements, providing design assurance, governance, and technical delivery leadership throughout the project.\n\nDesigns, implements, and assures complex networking solutions, based on Fortinet, Cisco & Juniper technologies, ensuring services are delivered safely, securely, and in accordance with agreed standards.\n\nWorks closely with Pre-Sales, Architecture, Project Management, Delivery, and Support teams to ensure customer requirements are translated into successful technical outcomes.\n\nSupports the standardisation and continual improvement of network services, delivery methods, and implementation practices.\n\nProvides technical mentoring and guidance to engineers, helping to build delivery capability and consistency across the Network Practice.\n\nResponsibilities\nLead customer discovery sessions, technical workshops, and implementation planning activities for network projects.\n\nProduce and assure technical documentation including low-level designs, implementation & migration plans, test plans, network diagrams, and operational handover documentation.\n\nConfigure, deploy, and validate network solutions in accordance with architectural designs, standards, and customer requirements.\n\nAct as Technical Design Authority for assigned projects, providing governance, technical assurance, and risk management throughout delivery.\n\nReview and approve technical deliverables and implementation approaches produced by project engineers.\n\nEnsure services are delivered in line with best practice, operational standards, and service acceptance requirements.\n\nSupport the transition of delivered services into support, ensuring readiness, documentation quality, and operational acceptance.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues encountered during deployment and implementation activities.\n\nContribute to reusable deployment standards, configuration templates, automation initiatives, and delivery best practice.\n\nProvide technical mentorship, coaching, and development support to delivery engineers and wider Network Practice teams.\n\nWork collaboratively with vendors, partners, architects, and operational teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.\n\nSupport the ongoing evolution of Node4's network portfolio, services, standards, and delivery methodologies.\n\nWhat will you bring?\nFortinet NSE5 or 6 and/or Cisco CCNP and/or Juniper JNCIP certification or equivalent technical capability.\n\nProven experience delivering enterprise networking and complex solutions within an MSP, systems integrator, or enterprise environment.\n\nStrong understanding of routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, VPN, security, Data Centre Switching, LAN and WAN technologies.\n\nExperience producing low level designs, implementation & migration plans, test plans, and supporting documentation.\n\nExperience acting as a technical lead, design authority, or senior consultant on customer-facing projects.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability across complex network environments.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.\n\nExperience mentoring engineers and supporting technical capability development within a delivery team.\n\nExposure to automation, Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, or repeatable deployment methodologies would be advantageous.\n\nWhat can we offer you?\nHybrid Working\n\nPrivate Medical Insurance or Company Paid Health Cash Plan\n\nEmployee Assistance Program\n\n25 days holidays plus your birthday off\n\nOption to purchase additional holiday (up to 5 days)\n\nCompany Pension Scheme\n\nLife Assurance x 4\n\nA diverse workforce\n\nEmployee investment with Node4 training Academy\n\nFamily savings and shopping discounts through the Node4 benefits portal.\n\nDiscounted Gym Membership\n\nModern facilities with open and welcoming breakout areas\n\nCompany Social events\n\nNever ending supply of hot and cold drinks, biscuits, sweets, and fruit\n\nWhy join Node4?\nFounded in 2004, Node4 has experienced exceptional growth and success over the years.
