operations.\nEnsure timely and accurate reporting of factory financial results, including manufacturing variances and operational spend.\nSupport management reviews with clear financial commentary on actuals versus forecast, budget, and prior periods.\nCost accounting and manufacturing variance analysis\nOwn and analyze manufacturing cost performance, including labor, overhead, materials, purchase price variance, scrap, yield, and absorption.\nMonitor standard cost versus actual cost and explain key drivers of variances.\nSupport standard cost updates and maintain accuracy of cost assumptions for factory-produced materials and finished goods.\nPartner with operations to identify and track cost reduction opportunities and corrective actions.\nInventory control and valuation\nOversee inventory accounting for raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods, reserves, and excess and obsolete inventory.\nEnsure inventory balances are accurate, properly reconciled, and compliant with accounting requirements.\nSupport cycle count, physical inventory, and inventory reserve processes.\nMonitor manufacturing-related balance sheet accounts and drive timely issue resolution.\nForecasting, budgeting, and planning\nLead FAB budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.\nDevelop cost forecasts for factory spend, variances, headcount, and capital investments.\nModel financial impact of production volume, utilization, ramp plans, yield changes, and operational scenarios.\nSupport business planning for new capacity, technology ramps, and strategic manufacturing initiatives.\nCapital expenditure and asset management\nTrack manufacturing capex against plan and support capital forecasting and reporting.\nPartner with operations and engineering to evaluate the financial impact of new tools, equipment, and facility investments.\nMonitor depreciation-related impacts and support capitalization decisions in line with policy.\nProvide financial support for major fab expansion or strategic investment programs.\nBusiness partnering with operations\nAct as the key finance partner to FAB leadership, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and procurement teams.\nTranslate operational issues into financial implications and support data-driven decision-making.\nChallenge assumptions, highlight risks and opportunities, and support accountability for factory financial performance.\nParticipate in regular operational and financial review meetings.\nControls, compliance, and audit support\nMaintain a strong internal control environment for manufacturing finance processes.\nEnsure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.\nSupport internal and external audit requests related to inventory, cost accounting, capex, and manufacturing transactions.\nHelp drive remediation and process improvements where control gaps or inefficiencies are identified.\nProcess improvement and systems support\nImprove reporting, forecasting, and analytics for factory finance.\nSupport ERP, costing, and reporting system enhancements affecting manufacturing finance.\nDrive simplification, standardization, and automation of recurring finance processes.\nStrengthen data quality and transparency across manufacturing and finance reporting.\n Required\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.\nSignificant experience in finance, controlling, or cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, manufacturing variances, and financial planning.\nExperience supporting monthly close, forecasts, budgeting, and management reporting.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.\nAbility to work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, supply chain, and senior leadership.\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\nProficiency in ERP systems and Excel-based financial modeling.\nPreferred\nExperience in semiconductor, high-tech, or advanced manufacturing environments.\nKnowledge of FAB-specific metrics such as yield, scrap, cycle time, utilization, and cost absorption.\nExperience with capex-intensive manufacturing operations.\nFamiliarity with internal controls, audit support, and compliance processes.\nCPA, CMA, or MBA is a
