responsible for all commercial activities with suppliers related to the FAB in Chandler Arizona.\nCoordinates purchasing activities with stakeholders to secure product/service in a cost effective & timely manner \nSpecific expertise in supporting Manufacturing/FAB, Production facility required\nExperience negotiating large capital equipment purchases and Chemicals, Products, Services, Software, etc.\nReviews and analyzes purchase requisitions from Business Area Stakeholders/Partners\nEvaluates quotes for accuracy and documents information needed on Purchase Order (PO) (delivery details, etc.) \nCoordinates processing of PO and/or Change Order for suppliers\nConducts RFI, RFQ, RFP with suppliers in collaboration with stakeholders\nWorks with supplier and stakeholder to negotiate best price and terms\nRecommends cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing \nAchieves significant savings on negotiations (new and repeat business)\nRequires domestic and global expertise of assigned commodities/categories\nNegotiates contract terms and conditions in collaboration with Legal and Contracts Manager\nManages category strategy, supplier selection, and supplier management/governance\nProvides summary related to supplier deals or status to executives\nAssists in the on boarding and screening of new suppliers\nUtilizes P-card to make low dollar, less strategic purchases\nActs as a steward of the company’s budget\n 15 years experience with supply chain/sourcing/procurement/buying required\n15 years experience with SAP/Ariba (preferred) or similar MRP system required\nRequires flexible Hybrid format with time spent in FAB as needed to support the business (~2 days/week)\nAble to work in high-volume, fast-moving environment with daily deadlines and re-prioritization\nStrong interpersonal skills and team player attitude \nStrong verbal, written, communication, and English skills\nExcellent Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills required\nAble to work independently and/or in a team culture \nUndergraduate degree in business or related field (supply chain).\nVery little travel required (-10%)\nJob is individual contributor but collaborates with colleagues in same and associated groups\nJob is full time with flexible work hours and ability to work remote while spending some time in FAB office\nRelocation not
