This is a senior, customer-facing role combining deep technical expertise with commercial awareness, supporting pre-sales, solution design, and long-term customer partnerships.\nYou will work alongside Account Management, Sales, Product Management, and R&D to design and position end-to-end subsea optical solutions, while feeding real customer insight back into Nokia’s product and technology roadmap.\n Act as the lead technical authority for Nokia’s subsea optical solutions across India, with a strong focus on large-scale subsea operators\nProvide pre-sales technical support, including solution architecture, network design, bills of material, and technical proposals\nEngage directly with customers to analyse network requirements, use cases, and growth plans, and translate these into robust, scalable solutions\nDesign and present subsea transmission solutions, including SLTE, open line systems, and related optical transport technologies\nSupport RFP/RFQ responses, technical clarifications, and customer workshops\nPartner with Sales and Project teams through the full lifecycle-from opportunity qualification to contract closure and early delivery phases\nAct as a trusted technical advisor for customers, developing long-term relationships built on credibility and insight\nProvide structured customer and market feedback to Product Management, influencing future features, architectures, and roadmaps\nContribute to technical marketing activities such as whitepapers, solution positioning, and conference or customer presentations\n Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline\nStrong hands-on experience in submarine optical networks, including SLTE and subsea system design\nSolid understanding of optical networking technologies (DWDM, ROADM, OTN); knowledge of IP/Ethernet and data-center connectivity is an advantage\nExperience working directly with large-scale international network operators\nProven background in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or systems engineering roles\nExperience responding to RFPs/RFQs and building technical/commercial proposals\nExcellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills\nComfortable operating independently in a senior, customer-facing role\nFluency in English;
