It is a cross regional and divisional transformation team delivering ‘initiatives’ related to new regulations, implementing new infrastructure, business expansion, product roll outs and introducing banking controls.\nRole Overview:\nAs a Sr. Project Manager you are responsible for driving the connected Stakeholder agenda, bringing the best capabilities for improving stakeholder experience and building and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships.\nYou are someone with experience in leading complex transformation initiatives across front and middle office operations in financial services, technology modernization, and operational efficiency while managing trading, risk, and client-facing business changes.\nWe are looking for someone with strong work ethic to join a dynamic and fast-growing division, and who will play a key role in delivering firm critical projects.\nKey responsibilities:\nCreate value for the organization by leading complex projects independently, driving regulatory and strategic change initiatives\nOwn the project design and delivery right from building the case to delivering the outcomes and enable achievement of strategic goals of the business\nDeveloping and enhancing relationships with our key stakeholders, understand the business and navigate within the organization to drive programs effectively.\nBringing diverse and thought-provoking perspectives and point of view to explore solutions working for the stakeholders.\nExplore trends and new, innovative ideas that will positively impact the division, in addition to the existing practices/processes followed within the division.\nContribute towards building the capability for the function to efficiently and effectively manage the project and coach/share colleagues who are managing projects.\nEnsure standardization in the project/change management practices adopted and align them to the organization goals.\nHost SteerCo and drive discussions/decisions working with the project leader/supervisor.\nWork with other division like Front Office, Finance, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Operations to identify and maximize opportunities that help in delivery of projects and to improve product, service and program business processes. \nPrepare project reports (weekly project update, monthly status update, highlighting risks, resource utilization, analyse trends, recommends adjustments that address or capitalize on these changes).\nAnalyse current end to end system / process flows and produce clear, concise documentation.\nWork collaboratively with technology teams to propose strategic system / process flows which are fully documented.\nKey competencies required:\n\nUnderstand clients’ needs and issues and respond with high-quality proposals.\nAcquire capabilities to perform one’s responsibilities and contribute to being a Trusted Partner.\nProduce new ideas that might challenge the status-quo or oneself.\nSeek advice from senior colleagues and utilize it for improved results.\nCollaborate with members from relevant departments.\nContribute to the success of the organization both quantitatively and qualitatively, and act with awareness of the impact on others.\nServe as role model and provide guidance to junior employees.\nHave a good understanding of corporate philosophy, professional ethics, compliance, risk management, and code of conduct, and make decisions and take actions accordingly.\n\nSkills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:\nMinimum 10+ years of experience in consulting or handling change programs within investment banking preferably in front/middle office transformation\nDeep understanding of Investment banking, derivatives, and fixed income operations\nExpect sound understanding of standard financial products like Equities, Bonds, Derivatives\nExperience in managing full E2E project delivery, Front Office to Back Office architecture overhaul projects which require coordination across multiple Corporate functions and Technology partners\nKnowledge ofTrade Processing: Broadridge, Summit, Kondor+\nMarket Data: Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE Data Services\n\nPlatform modernization experience would be a big plus\nUnderstanding of trade lifecycle from execution to settlement\nExperience with straight-through processing (STP) initiatives\nExperience with Vendor management\nCreative problem-solving ability, inquisitive mind-set, comfortable with working on ambiguous situations. Ability to work independently with limited oversight\nExcellent Communication, Leadership skills, Organization Skills along with experience in managing Sr. Stakeholder relationships is required\nExcellent project and programme management skills including experience in large cross functional and/or cross geographical programmes.\nExperience in managing full E2E project delivery, Front Office to Back Office architecture overhaul projects which require coordination across multiple Corporate functions and Technology partners\nAbility to operate in both agile and waterfall style project methodologies and understand deliverables required for each methodology. Knowledge of JIRA is preferred.\nCreative problem-solving ability, inquisitive mind-set, comfortable with working on ambiguous situations.
