The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operational health of infrastructure, participate in account management of brokerage services, and serve as a key technical liaison between trading desks, business units, and vendors. This role requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced trading floor environment, resolving real-time issues while maintaining strategic vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and quickly gain the respect of interfacing teams, working closely with the US Market Data Commercial team and wider Global Market Data Technical teams.\nTechnical Support & Operations:Provide comprehensive technical support for Market Data and Critical Broker applications\nAct as primary technical point of contact for trading desks regarding system functionality and data availability\nResolve technical issues in real-time on the trading floor\nMaintain day-to-day operational health of market data infrastructure\nConnectivity & Account Management:\nOversee connectivity management for all Broker applications and products\nAdminister trading user accounts and access across broker platforms\nInteract with individual brokers to create user accounts while adhering to Nomura internal processes\nTroubleshoot network protocols and connectivity issues\n\nVendor & Stakeholder Management:Serve as liaison between business units and vendors\nFoster and maintain strategic relationships with business teams and vendor management\nManage vendor relationships and third-party integrations\nCoordinate new software release coordination, system deployment, and connectivity modifications\n\nSystem Maintenance & Upgrades:Test and implement new market data infrastructure software, including DACS upgrades\nPerform RTDS (TREP) system upgrades and maintenance\nSupport front office desktop applications\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nCore Technical Skills:LSEG/Refinitiv RTDS (TREP) including DACS and tools\nLINUX CLI and shell scripting\nNetwork protocols and connectivity troubleshooting\nMethodical problem-solving skills\nFinancial Markets Knowledge:\nKnowledge of financial instruments and data structures provided by Bloomberg or LSEG/Refinitiv (Reuters)\nExperience working directly with traders on the trading floor\nProcess & Management:\nVendor management and third-party integration experience\nExperience in Incident Management / Change Management (advantageous)\n\nKey Objectives for Success:Enthusiasm to learn\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nStrong team player with proactive engagement\nCustomer service orientation with ability to prioritize workload and manage internal user expectations\nAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment\nFlexible working hours\n\nAdvantageous Skills & Experience:Experience using Bloomberg Professional and/or LSEG/Refinitiv Workspace\nMS SQL Server and Oracle database\nKnowledge of Market Data Vendor latest APIs: RFA, SFC, BPIPE\nWeb technologies: HTML, PHP, JavaScript\nFront office desktop application support experience\n\n This role requires flexibility to support trading operations and participate in on-call rotation for out-of-hours support.
