Frontend Architect

Responsibilities:

• Design and own the frontend architecture for large-scale web applications.
• Build scalable, reusable, and high-performance UI components using React.js and TypeScript.
• Define engineering standards, coding guidelines, and frontend best practices.
• Drive architectural discussions, technical roadmaps, and technology adoption.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineering teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimise applications for performance, accessibility, scalability, and security.
• Review code, mentor senior engineers, and provide technical leadership across frontend teams.
• Establish CI/CD practices, testing strategies, and frontend observability.
• Evaluate and introduce modern frontend tools, frameworks, and design patterns where appropriate.

Requirements:

• 10-15 years of software engineering experience with significant expertise in frontend development.
• Strong experience architecting and building enterprise-scale applications using React.js .
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc. ), and component-driven development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 CSS3 responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, and package managers.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and frontend-backend integrations.
• Good understanding of testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Experience in performance optimisation, lazy loading, code splitting, and web vitals.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
