About Norbert Health care is in dire need of automation. 13m nursing jobs will be vacant by 2025, and it is urgent to reduce the workload of overworked nursing and medical staff. Healthcare needs automation to grow into the home as well - 265Bn worth of medicare costs are shifting from hospital to home by 2028. At Norbert, we have built the device and technology that will make this transformation possible. We are making the world’s first medical grade, contactless and fully automated vital signs scanner that can measure heart rate, SpO2, blood pressure, respiratory rate and temperature in 20 seconds, without contact. All the patient needs to do is sit or stand within 3 feet of the device. We use wireless, infrared and visible light sensing to detect but also predict health issues before they occur. We are deployed in hospitals for pilots throughout the world, and are finalizing our bench tests before starting clinical trials in October. We will ship our first certified devices in the first quarter of 2024.
