Nord Gas Solutions is looking for a proactive and curious Treasury Controller who wants broad responsibility, international exposure and room to learn. You will work close to the core of our financial operations, with hands-on ownership of cash, liquidity, payments, foreign exchange, banking relationships and treasury systems.\nREPORTS TO\nHead of Treasury\nSCOPENorway, Sweden, Poland and UAE\nSYSTEMSSAP and TMS IFS target ERP\nThe opportunity\nThis is a broad, high-impact treasury role for someone who enjoys taking initiative, improving how things work and learning quickly. You will run the group’s daily treasury operations and act as deputy to the Head of Treasury. You will join an international project business delivering across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The role brings cash, payments, FX, banks, treasury systems and service-provider oversight together in one position.\nWhat you will own\nFX and hedging execution\nExecute hedge transactions, rollovers, realizations and new hedges within the mandate.\nManage collateral accounts and margin calls under the group’s hedging agreements.\nSupport the day-to-day management of foreign-exchange.\nCash and liquidity\nPrepare and monitor the group’s daily cash position across all legal entities and the cash pool.\nBuild and improve liquidity forecasts using receivables, payables and project cash flows, and follow forecast accuracy against actuals.\nSupport subsidiary funding, intercompany loans, interest settlement and transfer-pricing inputs.\nPayments and controls\nSupport bank channels, payment and statement file formats, and the controls surrounding the payment infrastructure.\nAdminister the corporate card programme and help identify fraud and payment-error risks.\nBanks, systems and governance\nBe the day-to-day point of contact for the group’s banks, \nMaintain KYC, UBO, legal-entity identifier and bank-compliance records.\nOwn the treasury management system and its data, while supporting the transition from SAP toward IFS.\nDraft and maintain treasury policies, authority limits and process documentation \nService-provider follow-up\nOversee the external accounting provider’s delivery for the asset-deal countries, including monthly payroll funding and month-end follow-up.\nWho we are looking for\nYou are proactive, dependable and eager to learn. You enjoy combining precision with practical problem-solving, and you are comfortable taking responsibility in a role where timing, controls and attention to detail matter. You communicate clearly, collaborate well across functions and countries, and follow issues through to completion.\nYour background\nA degree in finance, economics or accounting.\nTwo to four years of relevant experience in treasury, cash management or corporate banking, ideally in a group with several legal entities.\nHands-on experience with daily cash positioning and liquidity forecasting, including project cash flows.\nPractical knowledge of FX instruments \nExperience with controlled payment execution and awareness of fraud and payment-error risks.\nFamiliarity with KYC, UBO requirements, bank compliance, bank connectivity \nStrong Excel skills and fluent written and spoken English.\nExperience that will help you stand out\nStrong accounting foundation with solid knowledge of IFRS \nCash pooling, intercompany lending, interest settlement or transfer-pricing inputs.\nTreasury policy writing, process documentation or control design.\nSAP, IFS, treasury management systems, \nExperience managing an outsourced accounting or payroll provider.\nDo not tick every box?\nIf you have a solid finance foundation, a proactive mindset and the motivation to grow into a broad treasury role, we still encourage you to apply.
