The role is central to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and quality of the data and analytics solutions of the client's organization. The work requires close collaboration with data analysts, data scientists, architects, and other stakeholders.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nData platform development and maintenance\n Development and operation of a cloud-based data platform on Azure\nDesign of data warehouse and/or data lake structures (e.g. medallion architecture)\n\nDevelopment and optimization of Databricks environments (clusters, performance, cost)\n\nData ingestion and integrations\nBuilding and maintaining automated data pipelines (Azure Data Factory)\n\nData transfers from on-premise systems to the cloud and from various source systems to a centralized data platform\n\nImplementation and management of API-based integrations (e.g. Azure API Management)\n\nInfrastructure and automation\nDefining and maintaining infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles (e.g. Bicep, Terraform)\n\nBuilding and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, YAML)\n\nDeveloping version control and release management practices\n\nData governance and security\nSupporting data lifecycle management\n\nUsing metadata and governance solutions (e.g. Microsoft Purview)\n\nEnsuring access management, security, and compliance requirements\n\nSupport and collaboration\nProviding technical support to data analysts and other users\n\nMaintaining and improving documentation\n\nParticipating in multiple parallel projects and development initiatives\n\nTechnical Skills (Key Requirements):\nCloud platform\nMicrosoft Azure (strong hands-on experience)\n\nData and analytics\nAzure Databricks\n\nSQL and Python skills\n\nData warehousing and data lake solutions\n\nIntegrations\nAzure Data Factory\n\nAPI solutions and integration patterns\n\nDevOps and automation\nCI/CD (Azure DevOps)\n\nInfrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform)\n\nUnderstanding of environment management and automation\n\nSecurity and governance\nBasic understanding of data governance principles\n\nAwareness of access control and security practices in cloud environments\n\nWays of Working and Other Skills:\nAbility to work independently and proactively and take ownership of broader solutions\n\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\n\nGood documentation skills and willingness to develop shared working practices\n\nAbility to communicate technical topics to different stakeholders\n\nExperience working in an expert role across multiple teams\n\nWhat we offer:\nTrainings and certifications\nFlexible working hours and hybrid working model\nCompany laptop and needed equipment\nLocal package such as extensive private health care, Employee Assistance Program and wellness benefits\nThe successful candidate is expected to go through a security clearance.\nWe encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
