The role is permanent and can be based in Helsinki, Tallinn, Poland or Stockholm.\nAbout our team\nMeet the Data and Platform Team. Our role is to improve how we detect and investigate financial crime with the help of AI and machine learning to keep our customers, Nordea and society safe. Our team is about 25 people working out of Stockholm, Helsinki and Copenhagen as a part of the Group Financial Crime Prevention (GFCP) unit that provides financial crime prevention services to all of the bank.\nCollaboration. These are the values that guide us in how we work and how we make decisions - and that we imagine you share with us.\nMain responsibilities in this role:\nDesign and implement proof-of-concept solutions for the AI Platform spanning predictive, generative and agentic workflows.\nSecure that applications are compliant in accordance with rules and regulations.\nDefine production readiness and operational governance.\nLead technical working groups and cross-team synchronization.\nTranslate strategic direction into tactical technical guidance for the teams.\nApplication risk management - manage risks and QRAs.\nApplication access management - access rules and requirements.\nApplication cost management - ensure cost efficient applications.\nApplication incident management - secure proper communication and reporting.\nWho you are\nThis is the right role for you if you are:\nAmbitious and enjoy bringing ideas, exploring their potential, and presenting the results. You communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences, and you’re comfortable driving work forward independently.\nYour background and skills include:\nBSc or MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.\n5+ years of experience as a Cloud native expert in designing and building production grade applications and services on AWS and other cloud providers (Azure or GCP).\nPractical experience with Python development and managing complex environments with Terraform.\nExperience working with AI/ML platforms such as Amazon SageMaker, Bedrock, AgentCore and Data platforms such as S3, AWS Glue, Lake Formation.\nProven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across multiple domains, including expectations management.\nIt would be ideal if you also:\nExperience with agile methodologies and product development lifecycle. \nAbility to work cross-functionally with engineering, architecture, and data science teams.\nHave professional experience from working in regulated industries, i.e. Banking, Government, etc.\nWhat we offer\nPeople come here when they want to get somewhere.
