These are the values that guide us in how we work and how we make decisions - and that we imagine you share with us.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nAs the Data Scientist, you will work as part of a cross-functional team delivering data, automation, and AI solutions that support Markets Business teams. \nMain responsibilities in this role:\nDelivering solutions that create business impact \nPartner with Markets Business teams, analysts, and developers to identify opportunities and define impactful AI and automation development initiatives \nTranslate business challenges into production-ready solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making, working hands-on across the full lifecycle from exploration to delivery \nBuilding data and analytics capabilities \nWork with complex datasets and develop machine learning and AI pipelines spanning clustering, classification, regression, forecasting, and other advanced analytical use cases \nDesign, develop, and maintain production-ready data workflows and model pipelines in Python and SQL, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability \nContribute to a scalable data foundation by ensuring high data quality, integrity, and reusability across analytical, AI, and operational use cases \nImproving and scaling adoption \nApply and help strengthen best practices within MLOps, AI engineering, and software development; including version control, testing, containerised workflows, and deployment \nMonitor outcomes, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement to ensure adoption and optimisation \nYou will play a key role in shaping how Markets leverages data and AI to drive business outcomes\nWho you are\nThis is the right role for you if you:\nEnjoy turning business challenges into practical solutions \nTake ownership and turn ideas into outcomes \nHave a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset focused on delivering value \nWork effectively across business and technology teams \nCombine strong analytical thinking with a bias for action \nBalance attention to detail with the ability to keep sight of the bigger picture \nYour background and skills include:\nA Master’s degree in Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field \nExperience analysing large datasets and applying statistical, machine learning, and AI techniques to solve business problems \nExperience using data, machine learning, and AI to solve business problems, improve processes, and deliver tangible outcomes\nStrong programming skills in Python and experience working with SQL \nFamiliarity with machine learning, generative AI and LLM-based applications, and the ability to match the right tool to the problem; from low-code platforms (e.g. Copilot Studio) to custom-built solutions \nHands-on experience with modern development practices and tools such as Git, Docker, and APIs\nWhat we offer\nPeople come here when they want to get somewhere.
