This collaboration creates natural pathways for future career development, including potential transitions into business teams where your AI expertise will be highly valued.\nMain responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:\nEnd-to-end delivery of impactful AI applications: architecture, implementation, integration, testing and production rollout.\nCollaborate with data scientists, engineers and product teams to design and implement robust, maintainable AI systems that utilize AI/ML models, data pipelines, and orchestration layers.\nExplore emerging AI tools and frameworks; share insights and build proofs of concept applicable to Nordea’s use cases.\nTechnical scoping and estimation for AI use cases.\nDefine and promote engineering best practices: code review standards, CI/CD, testing strategies and documentation.\nChampion ethical, safe, and sustainable AI practices throughout the development lifecycle and across the organization. \nWho you are\nYou will thrive in this role if you are excited to build AI solutions that solve real-world problems and drive meaningful change. You bring a growth mindset, collaborative problem-solving skills and excel at transforming complex technical concepts into clear solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.\nWe are looking for someone with most of the following experience and skills:\nBSc or MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, or equivalent practical experience\nMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience architecting, developing and deploying applications or AI/ML solutions in production environments (not just prototypes)\nStrong software engineering fundamentals with proficiency in Python and experience building scalable, maintainable codebases\nExperience building agentic AI systems - autonomous agents that reason, plan and execute tasks - and integrating them with tools, APIs and enterprise data via MCP or similar standards\nExperience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), including containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native production patterns\nStrong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical teams and business stakeholders \nExcellent collaboration skills and experience working with diverse teams including data scientists, engineers, and product stakeholders \nIt would be ideal if you also have:\nKnowledge of agent testing methodologies, performance monitoring and maintaining agent reliability in production environments\nExperience using agent development frameworks and harnesses such as LangGraph, Deep Agents, AutoGen, CrewAI or similar, including multi-agent coordination and sub-agent delegation\nExperience using agentic AI tools like Claude Code/Cowork, OpenAI Codex\nProfessional experience working in regulated industries, e.g. banking, government, etc. \nWe encourage applications from candidates who are passionate about AI and meet most of these criteria.
