This role is based in Finland.\nWhat you'll be doing\nEngineering & Problem Solving:\nSolve varied engineering problems across services, integrations, data flows, platforms, and operational tooling.\nDesign and build maintainable solutions using Python, SQL, APIs, cloud services, and the most appropriate tools for the problem.\nHelp evolve data warehousing from project-style delivery toward reusable capabilities, stronger platforms, and end-to-end automation.\nWork across the full delivery lifecycle, from understanding a business need through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.\nImprove quality and reliability through automated testing, validation, observability, and simple engineering practices.\nAI & Transformation:\nUse AI tools thoughtfully in your daily development workflow as a practical accelerator for analysis, coding, testing, documentation, and operational work.\nHelp shape a more AI-enabled, automation-first way of working across the team.\nChallenge legacy delivery patterns and propose pragmatic alternatives that improve speed, quality, and maintainability.\nIdentify where software and automation can remove repetitive work, simplify operations, and improve outcomes for users.\nContribute to building a culture where experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement are part of the job. \nDevOps & Automation:\nImprove CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices across our software and data workflows.\nWork with Docker and container-based development and deployment workflows.\nImplement monitoring, alerting, and observability for critical services and processes.\nAutomate repetitive tasks and operational processes wherever manual work limits scale or speed.\nCollaboration & Growth:\nParticipate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and team ceremonies.\nCollaborate with Tech Leads and architects to refine technical standards.\nProactively share learnings and contribute to internal documentation, engineering practices, and team standards.\nBring curiosity, initiative, and a strong learning mindset to both technical work and team development\nSupport and mentor junior colleagues.\nWho you are\nYour background and skills include:\n4+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or a related technical field.\nStrong programming and problem-solving skills, with practical experience in Python and SQL.\nExperience building and operating production solutions in cloud or enterprise environments.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).\nAbility to move between application code, data, infrastructure, and operational concerns when solving a problem.\nWorking knowledge of data modelling and warehousing fundamentals, or the ability to learn them quickly.\nCuriosity and willingness to embrace AI-assisted development - you see AI as a tool to amplify your capabilities.\nA builder mentality - you want to improve how things work, not just operate within existing patterns.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience \nIt would be ideal if you also have:\nExperience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).\nFamiliarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, or similar).\nExposure to infrastructure-as-code or configuration management.\nExperience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.\nExperience in a financial services or regulated environment.\nInterest in data quality frameworks and automated testing, or self-service data capabilities \nWhy join us now\nWe are at a point where the old way of scaling warehousing work is no longer enough.
