This role will empower you to deliver on our purpose of “Assisting our Customers in Achieving Maximum Net Return per Acre”.\nKey Responsibilities\nWork and train alongside a mentor, leading you to perform regular field visits to assess crop health, growth, and potential issues. Utilize your observations to provide valuable insights and recommendations to customers.\nOver the course of the summer, you will perform and become proficient in crop scouting, including stand counts, weed/disease/insect identification, irrigation scheduling, and soil/plant tissue sampling.\nCollaborate with the sales team to build and maintain relationships with existing customers.\nLearn how to identify and meet customer needs effectively.\nAssemble and install seed plot and field signs.\nSupport the Agronomy Operations team as needed.\nAttend training events, field days, and sales meetings to enhance agronomy knowledge and skills.\nActively seek feedback and coaching from the Agronomy Sales Specialists.\nComplete a project in order to enhance Norder Supply’s knowledge of products and their performance.\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong interest in agronomy sales and crop management.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nDetail-oriented, with the ability to identify crop issues.\nWillingness to work outdoors in various summer weather elements.\nHolds a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards.\nSelf-motivated and proficient in working independently and as part of a team.\nAbility to operate ATVs and other equipment safely and responsibly.\nCritical Experience\nPursuing a degree in business, agriculture science, or a related field.\nPreferably possesses prior agronomic knowledge or experience in production
