For more information, visit our company's website at www.nordhealth.com \n\n Nordhealth Therapy is consolidating three market-leading regional PMS brands - Diarium in Finland, Physica and Psykbase in Norway, Terapeut Booking in Denmark - onto one unified practice-management platform for physiotherapists, psychologists, and rehab clinics. \n\nAbout the role\n\n As a Site Reliability Engineer in the Platform Engineering team, you'll help keep that platform reliable, secure and easy to ship to, across cloud and hybrid environments. You'll work closely with software engineering and product teams. On this team, experienced engineers own their domains. \n\n This is a hands-on role covering infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines, observability, incident response and security. You'll take part in the team's 24/7 on-call rotation ! \n\nYour key responsibilities include:Build and operate infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments: networking, infrastructure as code, containers and cost.\n\nImprove deployment pipelines and automation, including feature flags and progressive delivery: faster builds, safer deploys, quick rollbacks.\n\nApply the team's monitoring standards across logs, metrics and traces, so problems are found before customers report them.\n\nDefine SLOs for key user journeys and set up alerting that pages for urgent risks, such as a disk filling up or a certificate about to expire, and stays quiet otherwise.\n\nTake part in 24/7 on-call and incident response, and improve both: runbooks, blameless postmortems, and follow-up actions.\n\nKeep the platform secure: vulnerability management, patching, and framework and dependency upgrades. Manage secrets and access with least privilege.\n\nBuild compliance into the platform: audit logging, data residency and access controls.\n\nTest backups and restores regularly, and keep recovery procedures documented and rehearsed.\n\nFind repetitive manual work and automate it away.\n\nShape developer experience: internal tooling, self-service workflows and paved paths that let engineers ship faster and safely.\n\nHelp move the regional products onto the unified platform without disrupting the clinics that rely on them.\n\nWhat will help you to be successful in this role?\n\nIdeally, you have already gained some experience from working in a fast growing, global SaaS company. In addition, our humble wishlist includes:4+ years running production systems for a SaaS product, in an SRE, platform or DevOps role.\n\nStrong Linux and networking fundamentals: DNS, TLS, HTTP and load balancing.\n\nInfrastructure as code (Terraform or similar) on a major cloud provider.\n\nContainers and orchestration (Docker plus Kubernetes, ECS or similar).\n\nCI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar).\n\nObservability tooling (Prometheus and Grafana, Datadog or similar) and SLO-based alerting.\n\nReal on-call experience: you've handled incidents, written postmortems and followed through on the fixes.\n\nYou're comfortable coding in Go, Python or Bash, and can find your way around application code.\n\nFluent English, written and spoken, and you work well remotely and asynchronously.\n\n Bonus skills and experience (optional) Network engineering and DNS administration.\n\nHybrid environments: running workloads in a data centre alongside the cloud.\n\nFeature-flag-based deployments and progressive delivery.\n\nOperating relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL): replication, backups, restores and upgrades.\n\nRegulated industries such as healthcare: GDPR, ISO 27001, data residency.\n\nCloud cost optimisation (FinOps).\n\nMigrating or consolidating platforms without downtime.\n\nContributions to open-source infrastructure tooling.\n\nWhat's in it for you?\n\nAt Nordhealth, we do things a little bit differently.
