Be happy. Grow your career.\nThe Role\nThe Application Analyst I provides frontline support for clinical and business applications within the Managed Services division of Nordic Global. This role is ideal for recent entrants to the healthcare IT industry who have gained applications certifications or preliminary experience. All Nordic staff embrace Nordic’s maxims and mission to serve our customers who care so well for us.\nKey Responsibilities\nAchieve necessary certifications and follow learning paths to ensure ongoing growth.\nRespond to application support requests and incidents within defined SLAs, ensuring excellent customer service and communication.\nManage application and team documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and relevancy.\nEstablish and maintain relationships with software vendors to ensure high-level support.\nAssist in planning and executing application upgrades and security patches.\nParticipate in smaller analyst-led projects, learning basic project management tasks such as scheduling meetings and taking meeting minutes.\nLearn clinically integrated hospital and physician office workflows (both clinical and business).\nComply with all written team policies and procedures.\nLearn and leverage existing details of application documentation to provide effective and informed application support.\nUnderstand the entire application lifecycle to include implementations, upgrades, and eventual decommissioning and data archiving.\nAdvance application knowledge and understanding from mentor/lead during first 12 months.\nSkills and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Sciences, or a related field (relevant education and/or 6+ years’ industry experience).\n3+ years’ experience in healthcare IT or equivalent IT application analyst position with degree requirement.\nStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and customer service abilities.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.\nAdditional details\nSome roles may require participation in an on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support for critical applications, ensuring continuous and reliable service availability and travel as necessary to support the business.\nNordic is an equal opportunity employer.
