The position encompasses responsibility for inpatient and outpatient services, Emergency Department (ED), Critical Care, Theatres, Anaesthesia, Diagnostics, Laboratory, Oncology, and Pharmacy, co-ordinating with other workstream leads where applicable.\nThe successful candidate will provide consulting services on healthcare-enabling technology projects in a programme leadership, project management, analyst, subject matter expert, and advisory capacity, specifically supporting organisations implementing and optimising the MEDITECH Expanse platform.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nWorking closely with the client's clinical lead, the Workstream Lead: Clinical will be responsible for, but not limited to:\nClinical Leadership & Accountability\nAccountable for partner delivery of the clinical workstream end-to-end across all phases of the programme.\nAct as the delivery partner single point of accountability for all clinical scope and deliverables.\nLead clinical stakeholder engagement across inpatient, outpatient, ED, Critical Care, Theatres, Anaesthesia, Diagnostics, Laboratory, Oncology, and Pharmacy services.\nFacilitate clinical design workshops and future-state workflow development.\nEnsure alignment of clinical workflows, system configuration, testing, training, and deployment activities.\nProvide support for the clinical safety case for the programme\nSolution Design & Build Oversight\nLead the clinical design and workshop programme across all clinical domains.\nProvide clinical oversight and direction for system build activities.\nApply technical expertise to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve clinical system issues.\nEnsure build quality through content review, validation, and quality assurance processes ensuring traceability of build decisions and progress.\nCoordinate with application analysts, technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure solution alignment.\nTesting & Readiness\nAccountable for clinical test content, clinical scenario coverage, clinical stakeholder participation and clinical sign-off inputs working in close conjunction with the Test Lead.\nSupport and provide clinical assurance for dress rehearsals, cutover and go-live planning.\nSupport risk identification, issue management, escalation, mitigation planning, and reporting.\nTraining & Deployment\nReview and approve the accuracy of clinical training content and materials and support sign off in accordance with the programme governance \nSupport go-live preparation, deployment planning, and command-centre readiness.\nGo-Live & Stabilisation\nProvide clinical workstream leadership and escalation management throughout go-live and hypercare periods.\nCoordinate clinical issue resolution and optimisation activities.\nEnsure rapid response to operational challenges and clinical system concerns.\nSKILLS & EXPERIENCE\nEssential\nMinimum 12 years' experience delivering EHR implementation programmes within healthcare organisations.\nSignificant leadership experience managing acute clinical workstreams on MEDITECH Expanse programmes.\nDemonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary clinical teams through design, build, testing, training, and go-live activities.\nDeep expertise in:Computerised Provider Order Entry (CPOE)\nElectronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR)\nClinical Documentation\nCritical Care\nTheatres and Surgical Services\nDiagnostics and Ancillary Services\nInpatient and Outpatient Clinical Workflows\n\nStrong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical transformation, and change management.\nProven ability to facilitate executive-level and frontline clinical stakeholder workshops.\nExperience managing programme risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.\nPreferred\nClinical background or strong clinical informatics credibility.\nUniversity degree in Healthcare, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Clinical Practice, or related field.\nPMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Health Informatics, or equivalent professional certification.\nExperience supporting complex healthcare transformation and digital maturity initiatives.\nPersonal Attributes\nExceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong leadership presence with the ability to influence across all organisational levels.\nHighly organised with the ability be requirements for evening, weekend, or extended working hours particularly for go-live to support successful deployment and stabilisation.\nTravel outside normal business hours may be
