This role will work closely with Product Line Management, and Sales teams to support customer demos, application development, and system evaluations. This position is ideal for a candidate seeking practical exposure to customer-facing engineering, imaging systems, and semiconductor manufacturing environments.\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities\nSample Preparation & System Operation\n· Prepare and inspect customer samples for optical inspection and acoustic micro-imaging\n· Operate lab and production Nordson systems\n· Set up image recipes and fixtures for various package types\n· Monitor scan quality and system performance during evaluations\nCustomer Demonstrations & Application Support\n· Support live and remote customer demonstrations in applications labs\n· Assist in explaining inspection results and basic defect interpretation\n· Document demo results, images, and observations for internal and customer use\n· Collaborate with Sales and Applications teams during customer visits\nData Analysis & Technical Documentation\n· Review and organize scan data, images, and reports\n· Assist in developing application notes, demo reports, and training material\n· Provide feedback on system usability and application performance\n· Support continuous improvement of demo workflows and best practices\nSystems Test & Validation\n· Assist with system testing during new product development\n· Execute predefined test plans and document results and observations\n· Identify and report issues or anomalies to engineering and the applications teams\nEducation and Experience Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related technical field required. 0 to 5 years of relevant engineering or applications experience.\nExperience related to imaging, materials, semiconductors, or NDT preferred\nPrior lab, research, or equipment-based experience is a plus\nPreferred Skills and Abilities\nProactive, responsible, confident, and results-oriented\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive projects to completion\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly\nStrong command of the English language\nStrong technical aptitude with hands-on experience in laboratory, manufacturing, inspection, or engineering environments\nAbility to analyze complex data, identify trends, and communicate technical findings and recommendations\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a systematic engineering approach\nComfortable working in a customer-facing, cross-functional environment with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations teams\nAbility to develop and optimize inspection methodologies, test procedures, and application solutions\nGood organizational, project management, and technical documentation skills\nProficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and technical software tools;
