We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we are looking for candidates who share that same commitment.\nSummary of the role\nAs a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.\nJob Summary\nA Calibration Technician is responsible for the calibration, routine inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of instruments,\nmeters, gauges and other testing and measuring equipment. The Calibration Technician ensures they are calibrated correctly and\nprovide accurate measurements. Provides support to the engineering and manufacturing functions as it relates to calibration.\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities\n· Perform internal calibration of equipment in accordance with the quality system requirements, that demonstrates products\nmanufactured by Nordson EFD meet the requirements of end users and the company.\n· Coordinate external calibration of equipment in accordance with the quality system requirements, that demonstrates\nproducts manufactured by Nordson EFD meet the requirements of end users and the company.\n· Maintain the calibration system in accordance to the established frequency.\n· Perform routine equipment maintenance.\n· Maintain calibration equipment and supplies.\n· Ensure equipment is safe for operation and suggest upgrades when appropriate.\n· Backup incoming inspection as needed.\n· Perform all other duties as assigned.\nEducation and Experience Requirements\n· High School Diploma or equivalent is required\n· A minimum of 2 years or calibration experience using precision measuring equipment, including:\n· Micrometers (digital and dial)\n· Calipers (digital and dial)\n· Height gauges\n· Dial indicators\n· Gauge blocks\n· Force gauges\n· Torque measurement equipment\n· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Adobe)\n· Competency with calibration software\nPreferred Skills and Abilities\n· The ability to communicate using English, as needed, to effectively communicate results and issues through oral and\nwritten communications\n· Working knowledge of ISO9001-2015\n· ASQ CCT Certification preferred\n· Strong organizational skills and detail oriented\n· Energetic self starter\n· Ability to multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing environment\n· Experience using ERP software, SAP preferred\n· Experience using EIQ Software is a plus\nWorking Conditions and Physical Demands\nLab/Manufacturing environment.
