As the role is 100% remote, reporting to a Senior Finance manager in Singapore, we require a disciplined professional with the emotional intelligence, good problem-solving skills, and professional maturity to manage local stakeholders.\nJob Title: FINANCE MANAGER, Nordson Thailand Ltd\nLocation: BANGKOK / THAILAND\nReports to: SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER, in SINGAPORE\nType of position: Full-Time\nJob Summary\nResponsible for overall local Finance and Administrative activities in Nordson Thailand Ltd.\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities\nFinancial Accounting:\na) Manage and supervise the local Finance Team\nb) Responsible for completeness and accuracy of accounting records\nc) Responsible for compliance to all the statutory audit matters.\nPayroll:\na) Responsible for prompt and accurate payment to the employees including the reporting to the authorities including the social insurances and individual income taxes.\nAccount Receivables and Account Payables:\na) Manage the AP & AR Accounts Executives\nb) Work closely with SSC (in Singapore) - Finance - AR team for Credit Management\nc) Approve AP Payments\nInventory Management and Control:\na) Ensure proper controls are exercised over inventory including the carrying out of regular physical stock checks and preparation of appropriate stock reconciliations and analyses.\nb) Ensure customer returns and warranty claims are properly accounted, and appropriate level of provisions is maintained.\nc) Inventory reporting and analysis\nFixed Assets, Depreciation and Capital Expenditure:\na) Ensure proper recordings and documentations on major items of capital expenditure.\nTreasury and Banking:\na) Manage banking relationships and the operation of the bank accounts. Ensure all bank accounts are reconciled on a timely basis.\nb) Ensure adequate controls are maintained over cash transactions and balances\nSecretarial and Legal:\na) Responsible for company secretarial matters including filing Annual Returns and other statutory filings.\nb) Responsible for liaising with legal advisers on local legal issues.\nTaxation:\na) Responsible for all aspects of tax compliance including ensuring the timely and accurate submission of all tax returns; including WHT, VAT, Employees’ IIT and Corporate Income Tax.\nb) Responsible for tax issues and queries generally and liaising with tax advisers and corporate tax.\nc) Advise on the local country tax regulations\nAd hoc duties related to local office\nEducation and Experience Requirements\n1. Bachelor's degree or above, in Accounting / Finance/Business / Economics or related field.\n2. Having at least 5 years’ relevant working experience working in a MNC environment.\n3. Experience working with the different government agencies and Bureaus for Social insurances, Tax, Ministry of Commerce, Customs etc.\n4. Experience with payroll\n5. Experience with managing a small team\n6.
