We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we are looking for candidates who share that same commitment.\nSummary of the role\nAs a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities\nAssist in sustaining manufacturing processes by supporting troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement activities.\nSupport execution of validation and qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for equipment, processes, and design changes.\nCollaborate with engineers to identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and throughput.\nParticipate in engineering change order (ECO) documentation, test execution, and implementation activities.\nHelp analyze production data, perform basic statistical analysis, and summarize findings in reports.\nObserve and participate in root cause analysis activities and nonconformance investigations.\nLearn and apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.\nParticipate in design reviews and contribute DFM (Design for Manufacturability) input under guidance.\nAssist in drafting technical documents, validation plans, and troubleshooting guides.\nLearn quality and regulatory standards applicable to medical devices, including FDA QSR and ISO 13485\nEducation and Experience Requirements\nPursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.\nPrevious internship, co-op, or project experience in regulated manufacturing or medical device environment is a plus.\nRequired Skills and Abilities\nStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to independently complete assigned tasks.\nStrong interest in medical device manufacturing and continuous improvement.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nDetail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to follow directions and ask questions.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); exposure to SolidWorks or CAD is preferred.\nBasic understanding of root cause analysis, data analysis, and engineering documentation.\nInterested?\nIf you are interested in being a part of a team and creating an inclusive and diverse workplace, please apply online with your CV.\nAbout Nordson Medical\nAt Nordson MEDICAL, you don't have to be a doctor to help save lives.
