We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we are looking for candidates who share that same commitment.\nSummary of the role\nAs a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities\nAssist with sustaining daily MPS operations across electronics, electromechanical, software, and service-related systems.\nSupport troubleshooting and root cause investigations for production issues, field returns, test failures, software anomalies, or process performance concerns.\nContribute to test fixture support, test method improvements, calibration activities, software/firmware checks, and protocol execution as assigned.\nAssist with engineering change order (ECO) documentation, verification activities, implementation support, and post-change effectiveness checks.\nHelp draft or revise work instructions, technical reports, software or equipment documentation, validation evidence, and engineering records.\nPerform basic data analysis, yield trending, failure tracking, and report generation using Excel, Minitab, or similar tools.\nParticipate in design, manufacturing, or software review activities and provide feedback on manufacturability, serviceability, reliability, usability, and testability with support.\nSupport continuous improvement projects focused on reducing waste, improving reliability, strengthening test coverage, or improving throughput.\nSupport tasks requiring ESD safety, cleanroom entry, controlled documentation, and regulated manufacturing practices as necessary.\nGain working knowledge of applicable quality system, risk management, validation, and software lifecycle expectations used in medical device manufacturing.\nEducation and Experience Requirements\nPursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.\nCoursework, project experience, internship experience, or hands-on technical work related to electronics, embedded systems, software development, manufacturing, medical devices, or regulated product support is preferred.\nRequired Skills and Abilities\nStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to independently complete assigned tasks.\nStrong interest in medical device manufacturing, product sustainment, electronics, software, and continuous improvement.\nInterest in one or more of the following areas: electronics assembly, embedded systems, software development, sensor technology, test systems, or electromechanical product support.\nFamiliarity with circuit board components, testing principles, troubleshooting basics, programming concepts, or software debugging is preferred.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document technical work clearly.\nDetail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to follow directions, ask questions, and escalate issues appropriately.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\nExposure to CAD, programming languages, scripting, data analysis tools, C programming, FPGA, and/or VHDL is preferred.\nBasic understanding of root cause analysis, data analysis, engineering documentation, design controls, or software development lifecycle concepts.\nInterested?\nIf you are interested in being a part of a team and creating an inclusive and diverse workplace, please apply online with your CV.\nAbout Nordson Medical\nAt Nordson MEDICAL, you don't have to be a doctor to help save lives.
