This role is responsible for translating customer demand into executable supply plans to ensure the right materials are available in the right place and at the right time. This role combines tactical execution with strategic analysis by leveraging SAP, MRP, and data analytics to support inventory optimization and improve on-time delivery performance in alignment with LLP. The Material Planner partners cross-functionally to support operational excellence.\nES S ENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPlan and manage material supply by creating and maintaining purchase orders, production orders, and planning master data to meet customer requirements and OTD target.\n\nUtilize SAP MRP and planning tools to ensure material availability while meeting customer delivery and production objectives.\n\nCollaborate with Production, Procurement, Engineering, Customer Service, and suppliers to resolve material constraints and support operational objectives.\n\nAnalyze demand patterns, inventory trends, and planning performance to identify inventory optimization opportunities.\n\nRegularly review and optimize planning parameters including reorder points, safety stock, lead times, lot sizes, and order quantities to improve inventory performance and service levels aligned with MRD.\n\nMaintain the accuracy and integrity of planning master data (e.g., material master, planning parameters, lead times, sourcing data, and purchasing information records) to ensure effective MRP execution.\n\nDrive initiatives to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory while minimizing stock-out risk.\n\nMonitor key planning and inventory KPIs, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.\n\nSupport new product introductions, engineering changes, ECRs, and supply chain improvement initiatives\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.\n\n4+ years of experience in material planning, production planning, inventory management, or supply chain.\n\nStrong SAP MRP experience in a manufacturing environment.\n\nAPICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP preferred.\n\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA’s):\nStrong SAP and MRP knowledge.\n\nPower BI\n\nAdvanced Excel and analytical skills.\n\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office\n\nManufacturing knowledge processes such as Kanban.\n\nUnderstanding of inventory optimization principles\n\nTime management skills to prioritize and multi-task.\n\nCustomer-service orientation.
