Ensure that instructions for inspection or reworkisunderstood and followed by the production associates working in the area.\n\nServe as an activequalityteam contributor,assistinginidentifyingroot cause(s), permanent correctiveaction,and preventative measures (mistake/error-proofing).\n\nReport nonconforming product (i.e.Holding, Disposition, daily reporting).\n\nThe inspection activities include mechanical, functional,and orelectrical inspections of the components received to the documenteddrawingsverifying the critical parameters & other characteristics essential to meetICSrequirements.\n\nDocumenting inspection results.\n\nDisposition of the inspecteditems;either accepted or rejected.\n\nGeneratingquality notifications tosuppliersfornon-compliant items received.\n\nPerforming 1starticle inspections ofpurchasedparts.\n\nOther duties asassigned\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None\nEducation and Experience Requirements\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma\n\n3- 5 years of experienceofQuality Inspectionin amanufacturing/assemblycompany.\n\nCertified Quality Inspector or Technician preferred.\n\nPreferredSkills and Abilities\nAbility to use a standard ERP system,SAPexperiencepreferred.\n\nProficientin MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).\n\nAbility to work in a fast-pacedteamenvironment with competing priorities; ability to multi-task\n\nSelf-starter\n\nAbility to read, write and speak English tocomprehendand execute inspection plans\n\nDetailoriented\n\nBasic understanding GD&T tolerancing\n\nAn effective communicator with good interpersonal skills.\n\nGood manual dexterity for operating equipment and light assembly.\n\nAbility to read and interpret drawings, able to use measurement tools (calipers, comparator, gauge blocks, etc.).\n\nPowdered Material Handling Vehicle license orpreviouscertification a plus\n\nWorking Conditions and Physical Demands\nOffice/Manufacturingenvironment.
