This is an exciting opportunity for a compliance professional to play a key role in ensuring our products meet global regulatory, safety, environmental, and trade compliance requirements throughout the product lifecycle.\nWorking closely with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams, you will help embed compliance into product development, ensuring our products remain safe, compliant, and ready for global markets.\nAs a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.\nRole and Responsibilities\nTake ownership of product compliance activities across the full product lifecycle.\nInterpret and apply international regulations and standards, including CE, the EU Machinery Directive, EMC, OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, SEMI, and FDA requirements.\nPartner with Engineering teams to ensure compliance and safety requirements are incorporated into product design and development.\nEnsure components and materials comply with relevant requirements, including RoHS, REACH, UL, FCC, and Conflict Minerals requirements.\nMaintain technical files, compliance documentation, certification records, and declarations of conformity.\nAct as the compliance subject matter expert, providing guidance across Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain functions.\nManage relationships with external certification bodies and regulatory agencies.\nSupport trade compliance activities, including HTS classification, Country of Origin (COO), ECCN, OGEL, and SIEL licensing requirements.\nDevelop, implement, and monitor compliance-related business processes.\nSkills and Qualifications\nEngineering degree or equivalent experience.\n2-3+ years' experience in product compliance, regulatory engineering, or a similar role.\nExperience supporting compliance activities within product development teams.\nKnowledge of machinery safety and regulatory requirements for electro-mechanical systems.\nExperience using SISTEMA, Safeexpert, or equivalent safety analysis tools.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nExcellent attention to detail.\nAbility to translate regulatory requirements into practical engineering solutions.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nSelf-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.\nTravel\nThis is a UK-based, office-based role with regular travel between UK sites, approximately 25%.
