This role supervises Quality Control Technicians, supports production priorities, and ensures inspection, documentation, calibration, and environmental monitoring activities comply with company procedures, FDA requirements, and ISO 13485.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead, train, schedule, and develop Quality Control and Calibration Technicians.\nOversee incoming, in-process, and finished-goods inspection and testing.\nEnsure inspection records and quality documentation are accurate, complete, and compliant.\nPartner with Quality, Operations, and Engineering to investigate and resolve nonconformances.\nManage the calibration program and support measurement-system improvements.\nMonitor environmental monitoring and particle-count activities, including data review and trend reporting.\nCoordinate cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, quality holds, and related ERP transactions.\nSupport new-product introduction, process improvements, yield improvement, and manufacturability initiatives.\nReinforce safety, attendance, and company policy expectations.\nProvide hands-on inspection support when needed to meet business priorities.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field preferred.\nAt least five years of quality experience in medical device manufacturing, including cleanroom operations.\nAt least three years of supervisory experience.\nWorking knowledge of FDA Quality System requirements, ISO 13485, GMP practices, inspection methods, and calibration.\nStrong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nNordson Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
