The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader with project management experience, demonstrated success managing people and teams, excellent customer interaction skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude.\nEssential Responsibilities\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers and quality engineers.\nManage team workload, priorities, schedules, and project execution to ensure successful delivery of software projects.\nOversee the design, development, testing, maintenance, and release of software products.\nCollaborate with global engineering teams to align development efforts, share best practices, and support common business objectives.\nDrive continuous improvement in software development processes, software quality, and engineering effectiveness.\nWork closely with product management, systems engineering, manufacturing, and support teams to define and prioritize customer and business requirements.\nParticipate in technical reviews, architecture discussions, code reviews, and problem-solving activities.\nSupport customer-facing activities, including gathering requirements, investigating issues, providing technical guidance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.\nManage project plans, schedules, risks, and resource requirements.\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.\nSupport hiring, performance management, coaching, and career development of team members.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required. \nExperience\nMinimum 5 years experience. \nDemonstrated experience leading software development projects and engineering teams.\nExperience managing and developing technical personnel.\nExperience working directly with customers to understand requirements and resolve technical issues.\nExperience collaborating with geographically distributed or global teams.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong programming experience in C# and C++.\nExperience developing software in a Microsoft Windows environment.\nUnderstanding of software development methodologies, software architecture, debugging, and testing practices.\nExperience with software configuration management and source control systems.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in factory automation systems.\nExperience with vision systems.\nExperience with motion control systems.\nExperience with software-to-hardware integration and interface development.\nExperience in the semiconductor industry.\nFamiliarity with industrial equipment, manufacturing systems, or automated machine control software.\nKey Competencies\nStrong leadership and team-building skills.\nEffective project management and organizational abilities.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nStrong written, reading, and verbal communication skills in English.\nExcellent customer interface and relationship-building skills.\nAbility to influence and collaborate across global teams and functions.\nSelf-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nTravel Requirements\nDomestic and international travel up to 20% as required to support customers, project activities, and collaboration with global engineering teams.\nWhy Join Us\nThis role offers the opportunity to lead a talented engineering team developing advanced software solutions in a collaborative global environment.
