This role plays a key part in supporting business performance, driving process improvements, and developing accounting capability within the team.\nReporting to the Head of Operational Accounting, you will also act as a key partner to Group Reporting, FP&R and Finance Business Partnering teams, while providing leadership and coaching junior roles within the function.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the accurate and timely month-end and year-end close process for assigned entities, ensuring high-quality financial reporting.\nEnsure compliance with statutory, regulatory and internal control requirements, including audits, financial policies and SOPs.\nReview balance sheet reconciliations, financial results and working capital analysis, identifying and resolving accounting issues proactively.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing processes, controls, systems and accounting practices.\nCoach and support an Assistant Accountant while collaborating with finance stakeholders to deliver business objectives.\nWhy Norgine?\nAt Norgine, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while building a multidimensional career. We invest in our people through learning, wellbeing initiatives, collaboration and development opportunities, enabling you to grow whilst contributing to our purpose of transforming lives.\nRequirements\nQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong financial accounting and statutory reporting experience, including preparation of financial statements.\nProven experience managing month-end close processes, audits and compliance within a complex international environment.\nStrong understanding of financial controls, balance sheet management, intercompany accounting, inventory and reporting standards.\nExperience leading process improvement initiatives and driving operational efficiencies.\nExcellent stakeholder management, communication and people development skills.\nBenefits\nOur benefits may vary per location.
