We look for practical, hands-on experience, not theoretical familiarity.\nThis Role\nAs an Associate in our Private Equity group, you will work on high-impact deals while using AI agents to streamline the drafting, diligence, and execution process. You’ll collaborate closely with partners, clients, and technology teams to deliver efficient, precise, and data-driven legal services.\nOur practice embraces the use of AI to reduce administrative burden and increase your ability to focus on strategic legal judgment and client engagement.\nNote: This position is for a full-time attorney role at Norm Law\nWhat You'll Do\nDocument Drafting & Review: Leverage AI agents to generate, compare, and redline offering memoranda, purchase agreements, board materials, disclosure documents, and regulatory filings.\n\nDue Diligence: Use AI tools to conduct rapid document reviews, identify key terms in documents, and generate client-facing memos of complex due diligence materials.\n\nDeal Execution: Integrate AI agents into workflow management, signing and closing checklists, and coordination with counterparties.\n\nClient Advisory: Partner with clients to demonstrate how AI-assisted workflows improve accuracy, transparency, and deal velocity.\n\nCollaboration with Tech: Work closely with the technology teams to continue to make the deal process even more efficient using AI.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nCore Qualifications\nJuris Doctor (JD); active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.\n\n3-6 years of experience in private equity transactions.\n\nStrong drafting and communication skills; meticulous attention to detail.\n\nInterest in applying technology to enhance traditional deal workflows.\n\nNo prior AI or technical experience required.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\n30 Days: Learn firm AI platforms; begin supporting deal teams using AI-enabled review and drafting.\n\n60 Days: Independently manage discrete components of deals with AI support.\n\n90 Days: Lead AI-augmented workstreams in live transactions, improving efficiency and accuracy in document management and closing processes.\n\nCompensation and Benefits\nBase Salary: $270,000 to $410,000 per year\nThe range displayed in this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salary for this position.
