We look for practical, hands-on experience, not theoretical familiarity.\nThis Role\nAs a Commercial Contracts Associate (NDA), you will work on a high impact team that provides important services to Norm Law’s clients, while using AI agents to streamline the drafting, review, and execution process in providing non-disclosure agreement review for clients. You’ll collaborate closely with partners, clients, and technology teams to deliver efficient, precise, and data-driven legal services for in-house legal teams of leading asset managers.\nOur practice embraces the use of AI to reduce burden and increase your ability to focus on strategic legal judgment and client engagement.\nWhat You'll Do\nDocument Drafting, Review, and Negotiation: Leverage AI agents to generate, compare, negotiate, and redline NDAs tailored to client guidelines\n\nIncorporating Legal Context: Advise clients on their NDA playbooks and market standards, including ensuring AI agents understand each client's specific context and comparing client’s actual practices with playbook positions in order to guide updates.\n\nNDA Execution: Integrate AI agents into workflow management, execution, negotiation, and coordination with counterparties for any NDAs.\n\nClient Advisory: Partner with clients to demonstrate how AI-assisted workflows improve accuracy, transparency, and velocity.\n\nCollaboration with Tech: Work closely with the technology teams to continue to make the NDA review process even more efficient using AI.\n\nManaging high volumes of requests: Maintain a tracker, manage multiple high priority requests simultaneously and communicate timing expectations to clients and consistently and proactively follow up and move negotiations forward.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nCore Qualifications\nQualified solicitor admitted in England and Wales, with a current Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) practising certificate.\n\n2-3+ years of experience reviewing NDAs or similar agreements.\n\nStrong drafting and communication skills; meticulous attention to detail.\n\nInterest in applying technology to enhance traditional deal workflows.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\n30 Days: Learn firm AI platforms; begin supporting the commercial contracts team using AI-enabled review and drafting.\n\n60 Days: Independently manage discrete components of NDA review with AI support.\n\n90 Days: Lead AI-augmented workstreams in live NDA reviews, improving efficiency and accuracy in document management and execution processes.\n\nBenefits\nBenefits: pension plan with an employer contribution, medical and dental insurance coverage, employee referral bonus program, initial 2 week onboarding in the US.\nWork Location\nLocation: Central London\nWork model: Hybrid\nIn-office expectation: 4-5 days per week\nWhy Join Norm Law\nYou’ll be part of the founding UK team bringing a proven US category leader to a receptive UK market.
